HSSC, SSC exams from March 15, April 1, respectively

PANJIM: The second and final terminal examination for major subjects for Class XII and X will commence from March 15 and April 1, respectively. The Class XII examination will conclude on March 31 whereas the Class X student will answer their last paper on April 17. 

The public examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE), for vocational Class XII students will commence from March 16.

Since 2021-22, the Goa Board has divided the academic years into two terms with 50 per cent of the syllabus to be covered in each term. Accordingly, the first term examination was held in November, last year. 

As per the schedule, the Class XII term will begin from March 15 with English and Marathi paper. The next paper is on March 17 which is History, Physics or Accountancy paper, while Political Science paper is scheduled on March 18.

Mathematics paper is scheduled on March 20, Sociology is on March 21 and Chemistry and Business Study is scheduled on March 23. Banking is scheduled on March 24, Psychology on March 25, Biology, Geology and Economics on March 27, Hindi on March 29 and March 31 is Geography. 

As far as Class X exams for major subject is concerned, it will commence with First Language paper on April 1 while Third Language paper is scheduled on April 3.

The students will answer Mathematics II on April 5 and Mathematics on April 8. Second Language paper is scheduled on April 10, Science on April 12, Social Science I on April 15 and Social Science II on April 17.
