MAPUSA: Commuters traveling on Siolim to Cunchelim road have raised concern over waste water overflowing on the road at Cunchelim for the last fortnight.
“Water has been flowing on the road since April 13 after a wheel of a truck was stuck into the gutter. The vehicle was removed but the slab collapsed into the gutter blocking it completely. The authorities concerned should at least clear the gutter or rebuild it,” said Domnic Lobo, a resident.

Romeo Britto, a commuter said, “Water is overflowing as the gutter is blocked. Since this is an isolated spot, people openly dump garbage here and has turned into a breeding ground for mosquitoes and the Mapusa Municipality has to take a look at what is happening here.”
