Cricket ticket case trial from Sept 5

MARGAO: Trial in the sensational fake cricket ticket Case will commence from September 5 with JMFC, Margao Pooja Kavlekar on Thursday ordering that summons be isused to complainant and prosecution witness, PI Uttam Raut Dessai to depose in the court on that day.

MARGAO:  Trial in the sensational fake cricket ticket Case will commence from September 5 with JMFC, Margao Pooja Kavlekar on Thursday ordering that summons be isused to complainant and prosecution witness, PI Uttam Raut Dessai to depose in the court on that day.
When the case came up for hearing on Thursday morning, Judge Kavlekar granted exemption to incumbent Goa Cricket Association ( GCA) chief and then secretary,  Vinod Phadke. The court had earlier granted exemption to former GCA president Dayanand Narvehar and Joquim PIres who has travel abroad. At the hearing on Thursday, the remaining accused Gajanan Bhise, Ramshankar Das, Venkat R Dessai, Chimmay Falari, Eknath Naik and Devdutt Falla were present in the court.
Judge  Kavlekar said the case will  be heard on every Thursday or on any two days of the week in future. At Thursday August 29 hearing, Investigating Officer SP Umesh Gaonkar along with SPP  Adv Vinay Borkar were present.
