PONDA: Around 40 street vendors conducting business on Ponda streets have applied for the loans available to them under Prime Minister Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Nidhi Scheme (PM SVA Nidhi).
Officials at Ponda Muncipal Council said around 200 had taken loans applications and out this so far around 40 have filled the form and submitted to PMC. The rest are expected to fill their forms soon. PM SVA Nidhi offers up to Rs 10,000 for one year and offers interest subsidy at seven per cent per annum on repayment of loans.
