A rather lavish spread in the capital city

In the heart of the city lies a venue that
caters to the city’s huddled masses. Latitude at Vivanta by Taj in Panjim is a
24-hour restaurant that works towards feeding plenty of rumbling stomachs no
matter what hour they walk through the door. And they have taken it a step
further at this venue with their all new dinner menu.

Latitude now boasts a dinner buffet every
evening. The feast starts with options of soup, with both vegetarian and non
vegetarian options to pick from. As one moves through the row, the main course
present themselves in the form of one biryani option, one non vegetarian gravy
preparation (with Dum ka Gosht being ever popular), one vegetarian dish with a
choice of two rice options – pulao and steamed rice – and Dal. When the guest
first steps in, the chef sends his own variation of vegetarian salad, a small
pizza and a mocktail to the table in question.

However, every meal has its own
showstopper. The main highlight of the dinner buffet is the live grill counter.
Here, there are three options of meat that one can choose from: seafood,
chicken and lamb. Seafood features one ‘fresh catch of the day’ – which could
be pomfret, mackerel, kingfish and so on. The diner can then opt for their
choice of marination; be they Indian (tandoor, etc), Western (pesto, butter
garlic, etc), or Goan (peri peri, cafreal, balchao, etc). In similar vein, the
vegetarian grill counter also has vegetables on display like ladyfinger
(bhindi), mushroom, baby corn, etc. For those who are conscious about
specifics, there are separate grill counters for vegetarian and non vegetarian
sections.

No meal is complete without a sweet ending.
The desserts on display include a rotating series of options comprising several
Indian and western variations, with a total of 7-8 desserts in all.

So if you’re in the city at dinner hour and
you’re looking for a place to pay homage to your stomach, why not pop by
Latitude at Vivanta by Taj?
