PANJIM: Subham Kar Chandhuri, currently residing in Goa, has filed a transit anticipatory bail application before the High Court of Bombay Goa fearing arrest by the Delhi Cyber Crime Cell in the alleged ‘tookit’ case. The High Court has issued notices to the respondents returnable on Tuesday.
Chandhuri (29) has been residing in Goa since August last year and is working for accreditation of khazan lands as a United Nations Agricultural Heritage site.

In his petition Chandhuri said that though he was not named in the alleged online ‘toolkit’ case, the Cyber Crime Cell of Special Cell of Delhi police were trying to falsely implicate him in the offences under Section 124A and 153A of IPC, read with Section120B, with which he had no connection whatsoever.
The petitioner apprehends that the Delhi police are trying to ‘arrest’ him in connection with the FIR and had contacted a person known to him in Goa.
The petitioner has stated that he had no role in making the alleged ‘toolkit’ and he is not connected even remotely, with the alleged offences.
