A LED fixture on an electricity pole near Almeida High School in the vicinity of old bus-stand in Ponda has been covered with branches of an adjoining tree. Hence illumination over the road gets restricted to a great extent.
The pedestrians and travellers have to proceed through darkness thereby confronting them with inconvenience during the night. Above undesirable situation has been existing for quite a long time. However, the maintenance staff deputed at this location has failed to initiate timely favourable action in the interest of public at large.

It is the need of the hour for the higher officials at Ponda Electricity Department to take a note of the above matter and assure prompt favourable action in chopping the branches covering the above fixture so that the pedestrians and travellers are assured proper illumination on the road.
Let us hope that immediate positive steps would be initiated in this important matter at the earliest without any further delay.
