CUNCOLIM: Finally, Cuncolim Municipal Council got its full fledged Chief Officer. Shankar Gaonkar assumed the charge of chief officer of CMC from former CO Kedar Naik. Before joining CMC as CO Gaonkar was the deputy collector of Quepem. The post of CO was vacant since last one month after Kedar Naik was transferred to Canacona as deputy collector. Naik is also holding additional charge of Canacona Municipal Council CO.
