A jackfruit tree is standing tall in a totally dry condition adjacent to the road near Shree Saraswati Temple at Daag, Ponda. One large branch over the live electricity supply wires may collapse anytime thereby leading to adverse consequences.
Travellers and pedestrians have been confronted with great risk and danger at this particular location. In case, the said branch collapses sooner or later, it would certainly cause loss of precious human lives and property.

The concerned authorities, especially the Electricity Department should take a serious note of this jackfruit tree and arrange chopping of the dry branch of the said tree at once so that public at large are assured safety on a permanent basis. Let us hope that the higher officials at this important department would inspect the said dry tree at the earliest and initiate prompt positive action in this regard before any tragedy occurs sooner or later. The much needed safety must be assured for pedestrians and travellers at the earliest. Immediate favourable action would indeed be appreciated by one and all.
