RAIA: Fr Agnelo YSC, Paroda, entered the semi-finals of 1st Vauradencho Ixtt Trophy 2025 organised by Batora United Club in association with Margao Sports Club defeating United Club Verna 3-1 at the DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Thursday.
Sowell Fernandes opened the scoreline for Fr Agnelo YSC in the 7th minute of the game and were leading 1-0 at half time.
Changing over, UC Verna tried to control the game but failed to capitalise on the chances they got and Fr Agnelo YSC scored through Joel furtado in the 27th and 37th minute of play. UC Verna’s Cliton Rebello pulled one goal back in the 40th minute.
