Rahul, Lavino, Yakubu and Nicholas score a goal each for the winners

DULER: Guardian Angel Sports Club scored a resounding 4-0 win over Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao, in the GFA’s Pro League, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Friday.
At halftime the winners led 2-0.
Guardian Angel now stands with seven points from four matches while Taleigao stay on a single point from five matches.
In a mostly one way traffic encounter, Guardian Angel did not waste much time and opened the account as early as the 2nd minute of play when Rahul Kumar positioned himself perfectly to slot in the ball from inside the danger zone.
Guardian Angel increased the tally when Lavino Fernandes got hold of a pass from Gaurresh Naik and unleashed a blistering shot which crashed into the Taleigao nets after grazing the hands of keeper Rohan, 2-0.
Crossing over, Nicholas Rodrigues covered some ground and flashed the ball across to Perryson Rebello whose shot struck the Taleigao woodwork.
In the 57th minute of play Gourav Kankonkar sent a perfect ball to Salu Santos right inside the Curchorem danger zone however his goal bound effort hit the legs of defender Benzu Clemente and rolled out for a corner.
Guardian Angel once again got into the scoring act in the 65th minute of play when Djourou Isaac Ouedji sent the ball towards Yakubu Mohammad who charged inside the Taleigao 18-yard box and fired the ball home, 3-0.
Nicholas Rodrigues fired the final nail in the Taleigao coffin in the 83rd minute of play through a long range effort to take the score tally to 4-0.
