CURTORIM: Damdolem SC beat Camarxette FC by a solitary goal and moved into the quarter-finals of the 2nd Curtorim inter-ward 9-a-side football tournament organised by Cumborda Sports Club of Curtorim, at Curtorim ground, on Friday.
Camarxette FC had their first best chance to take lead in the second minute when Bryan’s finish from a brilliant pass from Camarxette midfielder which soon after that Bryan made a solo-run and his shot hit the rival upright post and went out of play.
Damdollem SC came from behind with their attacking moves with their attacking striker Ryan Fernandes and they succeeded in the 30th minute when Ryan’s long range powerful shot hit the target and the Camarxette FC goalkeeper Cristo couldn’t do anything to save.
Damdollem goalkeeper Agnelo also made good saves in the last quarter of the match of the game.
