PORVORIM: Burglars broke into a house at Cunchelim-Mapusa and decamped with cash of Rs 40,000 and other valuables.
In his complaint, Merwyn D’Souza told Mapusa Police that he had locked his house in Cunchelim and was staying at his business premises in Candolim from December 25 to January 3.

However, when he returned at his residence on Tuesday, he found that some persons had entered into his house through the window and decamped with valuables.
Cash of Rs 40,000 and some valuables, the value of which is yet to be ascertained, were found missing. Mapusa Police is investigating the case.
