MARGAO: Regina Martyrum, Assolna got the better of Infant Jesus HS, Colva 3-1 in the 1st CSC Girls U-15 inter-school Futsal Cup organised by YFA, at Chowgules Sports Centre, Margao, on Wednesday.
Kiara Simoes netted a brace and Liza Simoes scored for the winners while Heena Mulla scored a consolation goal for Infant Jesus HS.
Divya Chavanke scored the only goal of the game as Rosary HS Navelim defeated Perpetual Succour Convent HS.
Manovikas EMS thumped a hapless Saviour of the World HS, Loutolim 12-0. Naomi Viegas and Abigail Barreto scored four goals each while Gretel Pereira scored a hat-trick.
The semi-finals will be played on February 14 (Thursday), The Kings School will face off against St Jude’s Betalbatim at 9 a.m. while Fatima Convent HS will lock horns with Manovikas EMS in the second semi-final at 10 a.m.
