CURCHOREM: Carmel Higher Secondary, Nuvem clinched the South Goa Under-19 football title after thrashing Guardian Angel Higher Secondary, Curchorem 6-0, at Village panchayat ground, Tilamol.
Carmel girls were in total control of the ball and did not allow Guardian Angel to surge ahead. Haima, Shabnam, Indira and Eslinda were the goal getter.
Earlier, in the Zone finals, Carmels thrashed Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim 3-0 during the first half itself at Quepem Sports Complex.
