MARGAO: The Green Goa Foundation has served a 15-day legal notice on the Chief Secretary, South Goa Collector and PWD for not resolving the complaints made by them over the bad road from Danddevaddo to the Cuncolim bus stand.
The GGF has warned that they would approach the High Court with a writ petition regarding the issue.
A stretch of road from Cuncolim bus stand to Danddevaddo which is on the National Highway 17 has been reportedly patched up with red mud by the PWD in a careless manner. The Green Goa Foundation, an organisation working for resolution of this issue, had brought this to the notice of the authorities earlier.
The GGF has also informed that a lady died after suffering grievous injuries in an accident due to the shoddy work at this stretch. The organisation has demanded immediate solution to the problem.
