As couches are repositioned, (in some
cases) new televisions are purchased and a regular stocking up on snacks and
beverages begins, one thing is for certain: that the football season is upon us
again. After a rollercoaster ride last year that had fans, friends and foes on
tenterhooks until the final day, one fact became evident; this year would be
something to look forward to. Fans have been busy squabbling on social media
about who stands the best chance at glory, with each believing that his/her
club deserves top billing.
Having just missed out on the title last season, Brendan
Rodgers has won praise for his attacking style of football. In keeping with
said style, many Liverpool fans are anxious to see what the future holds for
the club’s rumoured attacking signings; Edison Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi. “I
am really stoked. In all honesty, if we get them in, I think we wouldn’t miss

Having broken a nine-year winless streak with FA Cup
success, Arsène Wenger will also be looking to build on his squad, this time
with the aim of contending for the Premier League title. With Alexis Sanchez
having come on board, a world-class striker still appears to be on the
