MARGAO: The Margao Town police arrested a resident of Sao Jose de Areal in connection with a shop burglary. Police informed that Peter John Alphonso of “Goa Agro Horticultural Centre” Suckdow Building, near Cine Lata, Margao in his complaint stated that between April 1 and 2 some unknown accused person/s effected entry into his shop by breaking the lock and damaged 2 CCTV Cameras, 3 monitor screens causing loss of Rs 27,000 and further stole a laptop worth Rs 35,000.
Accordingly, under the guidance of PI Sachin S Narvekar, PSI Vishwajit Dhavalikar registered FIR and took up the investigation. Following investigations, the accused 54-year-old Manuel Costa from Sao Jose de Areal was arrested on April 3.
