VALPOI: Velus villagers on Thursday filed a police complaint stating that the cows have been missing from the village since last few days.
In their complaint, the villagers alleged that some unknown persons visit the village especially when the cattle are grazing and if there are no people at the site, they impound the cows and transport them in their vehicles.
“Since the last few days around 25 cattle have been missing from the village. We doubt that some unknown people have stolen them. Some villagers have seen persons stealing our cows. So we have filed a complaint with the Valpoi police in this regard,” complained Aapa Gurav, a villager.
