These ISIS groups which have now well spread their network all over the continents can pursuit their dirty agenda even in every powerful country on earth. There is no doubt of any iota that the internet has been their strongest tool to spread hatred and recruiting of cadres from across the globe. The ghastly videos they released show how brutal they can be towards innocent citizens. And that is a reality.
The countries of Syria and Iraq had never been the flash points in the beginning but after the ruthless invasion of Iraq by the US- led forces the Middle East has never been at peace till date. These two countries’ dreams have been literally shattered and it may be a herculean task to get back on its feet in near future. The exodus of their people into Europe has made the Europeans unsecured because of security. Though some of the leaders publicly welcome the migrants on humanitarian ground but there is also a sense of uncertainty and safety in the long run. And in the bargain this may be jeopardizing their peoples’ own interest and life at large.
The blunders of American policy have made the Middle East a laughing stock in the face of terrorism. In our own back yard, different definitions are applied to the terrorists – the so-called good terrorists whose help to the state speaks volumes and bad terrorists which strikes into their own country. This is ridiculous to the world to acknowledge.
The world powers are yet to explain as to who has radicalized all these cadres to such an extent that all of them have been terrorizing the innocent citizens with lethal weapons. Most of the countries today are put on high alert and are forced to go for advance technology to protect their territory with the latest gadgets that are available in their armory. And that will be further draining their budgetary provisions.
The million dollar question is who has created this monster called ISIS.
Initially it was the Palestine cause which triggered a wave of different types of protests for illegally occupying their vast land by the Israel. The blood bath of the Palestinians at the hands of Israel turned the moderates into hardliners and the cycle of violence continued unabated. All the protests against mighty Israel were dimmed to die down due to their influence in the corridors of world powers. The Palestine cause was the main reason behind for every soul that jumped to the ideas of fighting the Israelis. And subsequently these ideas were hijacked by the separatist groups of Kashmir at the behest of Pakistan which helps them in every respect to destabilize India on the northern front.
The safe havens of the terrorists are long and wide in the world. The poor management of the state wealth by the respective governments of Africa was also the reason for the citizens to take up arms and gradually fall into the hands of the terrorists groups.
Without someone’s support there cannot be any entity surviving to unleash terror at impunity.
India has witnessed number of terrorists’ attacks in the past and there is no guarantee of the future attacks however tight vigil the country may adhere to. Spending the millions or crores of rupees cannot give any guaranty of safety to any citizen.
But we need to ask ourselves at times why this world is facing this wrath of the terrorists. Could it be because the ill governance of the countries which have failed to deliver the goods towards the welfare of their subjects? Or the politicians themselves who have created these monsters which now gone out of their hands beyond their imaginations?
Most of the times it is the country’s leaders who have abdicated their responsibilities towards development and instead served for themselves by looting the state treasury.The expose of various nature of stashing country’s wealth by the politicians are the reasons for country’s under-development. Bad planning and half hazard implementation of the programs has lead to various scams.
Most of the times when politicians fail to deliver good governance and imposing their will on the peaceful people have resulted in peoples’ protests.
The state of Goa too is witnessing the same hysteria from the public at large as government has failed to listen to the peoples’ protests. Some have been the victims of highhandedness of the police which speaks volumes of silencing the peoples’ opinion and that is a very dangerous trend to any state which in the long run makes one think on terms of a terrorists’ mind though most of us may show that we are too soft a state.
