AFC ready for 2nd phase Vision India-Goa project

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) approved the documentation submitted by GFA for the completion of the 1st phase of the Vision India-Goa Project.

PANJIM: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) approved the documentation submitted by GFA for the completion of the 1st phase of the Vision India-Goa Project.

The AFC stated that they are now ready to start the 2nd phase of the project. 

Alex Soosay, AFC General Secretary informed the AIFF and the GFA that the details provided by GFA have been found to be in accordance with the strategic development plan in relation to the organisation structure, administrative structure, list of the committees, names and addresses of GFA Executive Committee and standing committees and the names of the employees of GFA.

“We appreciate the efforts and proactive approach of GFA in taking Project Goa ahead. The Vision Asia department is satisfied with the information provided and it is in line with the principles of Vision Asia. As such the Phase l of Project Goa has been completed as all the necessary goals under the plan have been successfully achieved.”

“We would like to initiate Phase ll – clubs and competition for Project Goa,” the AFC added.
