Panjim Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against two individuals accused of submitting forged educational documents during the Home Guard recruitment process.
The accused, identified as Shayda Shanu Gaonkar and Ashok Putto Dessai, both residents of Quepem, allegedly produced fake Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) certificates to secure positions.

According to officials, the irregularities came to light during document verification. Following a preliminary inquiry, police registered the case and initiated further investigation.
