CANACONA: Nirakar Shikshan Sanstha’s Satyavati Soyaru Higher Secondary School secured 91.03 per cent result at the examinations conducted by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Of the 161 students of this school more popularly known as Angle Higher Secondary School appeared for the exam of which 147 passed. The school has science, commerce and arts streams.

The Arts section had the highest passing percentage of 96.15 per cent, followed by science which got 95 per cent passing while in the commerce stream, 81.63 per cent of the students passed.
50 of the 52 students from Arts section passed the exams with 12 securing the first class, another 12 got second class while 26 cleared the exam with a pass class.
In the Science section, 57 of the 60 who answered the exams were successful. While 4 secured first class, 24 got second and 28 bagged the pass class.
40 of 49 students who answered the Commerce section cleared the exams of which 6 obtained first class, 5 got second class and 17 cleared the exam with pass class.
The top three scorers in the Arts section got more marks than the highest scorer in Science and Commerce section.
Palak Revankar who secured 95.66 per cent was the top scorer from this institute. She was followed by Shreya Prabhu (92.05%) and Rhea Komarpant (91.05%).
Shaina Mirashi securing 87.33 per cent was the top scorer in Science section followed by Gauravi Kudchodkar with 80 per cent and Suhani Varip with 78.80 per cent in the third position.
The top three scorers in Commerce Section are Veda Kolwalkar (86%) Pierre Fernandes (84.33%) Krish Pagi (81.66%).
While expressing satisfaction over the results, Nirakar Shikshan Sanstha President Prashant Naik wished all the best to the successful students in their future and also thanked the staff for their dedication that brought this good result.
