SHIRODA: St Joseph’s High School, Shiroda, defeated Smt Tarabai Dalvi High School, Bhamai Pale, 5-4 via the tiebreaker and emerged champions in the Ponda Taluka level Mini and Secondary School Sports U-14 Boys’ Football championship organised by Directorateof Sports and Youth Sports, at the complex in Ponda recently. With no score at full-time, St Joseph’s High School clinched the title with a 5-4 scoreline. Third place went to M I B K Hugh School,Khandepar. The tournament drew 27 teams from the Ponda Taluka.
