Xavier who hails from Quelossim said he had always been with the people especially with the issues concerning his village of Quelossim.
“Whether it is the controversial multi-crore mini-India park in Quelossim, or the slums on the Quelossim Comunidade land, I have been in the forefront in opposing them and I have documentary evidence to prove the same,” Xavier told Herald.
Xavier said he would start canvassing after the day of withdrawal of nominations and would travel to the whole of Cortalim ZP constituency explaining to the people his decision to contest the election.
