RAIA: Navelim Villagers Union defeated United Club of Verna 2-0 to enter the semi-finals of Our Lady of Merces inter-village football tournament played at Chinchinim church ground, on Sunday.
Navelim Villagers Union took the lead in the 23rd minute. Later, they extended their lead with a goal in the 44th minute. Later, despite of efforts from Cyrus Noronha of United Club of Verna, the match ended in Navelim Villagers Union’s favour.
