PANJIM: On Wednesday, 89 samples that were tested for COVID-19 reported negative, while two new suspects were admitted in the isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC).
As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), of the 95 samples sent for testing, 89 test results were negative while six reports are awaited.
With two new suspects admitted in GMC, there are now four patients in the isolation ward. There are 17 contacts placed under government facility quarantine.
All seven COVID-19 patients have recovered, while three have been discharged, four are undergoing the home quarantine process.
