PANJIM: Sporting Clube de Goa in collaboration with Don Bosco High School will organise the 9th edition of their annual U-12 7-a-side football tournament on February 9, at Don Bosco School ground, Panjim.
The tournament will commence at 8.30 a.m. and will have 16 teams participating. The teams are divided into four groups of four teams each who will first play the league phase to decide the four semi-finalists. The league groups are as follows:
Group A: Dona Leonor Memorial, Porvorim, Infant Jesus, Colva, Sharda Mandir, Miramar and St. Joseph A, Calangute
Group B: Don Bosco A, Panjim, St. Ann’s, Thivim (3) St. Anthony’s, Guirim and The Rosary High School B, Cujira
Group C: Don Bosco B, Panjim, St. Xavier, Moira, St Joseph B, Calangute and The Rosary High School A, Cujira
Group D: Auxilium Convent, Taleigao, St. Michael, Anjuna, Santo Minguel, Taleigao and Sunshine Worldwide, Old Goa.
The semi-final line up will be drawn by lots amongst the four group winners.
