TIMEOUT72 premiered at Vagator Goa on December 27, 2017 and the festival will
continue till December 29. Jason Derulo’s performance was the introduction and
the show will continue with stellar performances by Wiz Khalifa and Martin
Garrix respectively on the remaining two days. Organised by Waterlemon Events,
TIMEOUT72 promises to be an event that goes beyond music.
The line-up for today and tomorrow include festival favourites
such as Grammy winning duo Nervo, Zaeden, Lost Stories, Sem Voxx, Third Party,
Lucas and Steve, Australia’s DJ Timmy Trumpet, World No 11. Don Diablo and
Justin Mylo. Coming Soon, GMS, Symbolic and Skazi will play on the Psy Stage.
For Indie fans, there’s Divine, Raja Kumari, Papon, Midival Punditz, Hari and
Sukhmani, Prateek Kuhad, Prem Joshua, When Chai Met Toast at the Live Stage.

American rapper, singer-songwriter and actor Wiz Khalifa is
performing today on the Majoris Stage from 8:30pm onwards. Wiz Khalifa is well
known for his debut single for Atlantic, ‘Black and Yellow’, which peaked at
number one on the Billboard Hot 100. His single ‘See You Again’ was the
soundtrack of the film ‘Furious 7’ and the song peaked at number one on the
Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks.
Martin Garrix is a Dutch music producer and DJ who became widely
known after his single ‘Animals’ was a worldwide hit, reaching the top ten of
many charts across Europe and on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart. His
latest single with David Guetta, ‘So Far Away’, featuring guest vocals from
British singer and songwriter Jamie Scott and Dutch singer Romy Dya was
released this month.
From cabarets to firework displays to tightrope-walking and
other circus theatrics, TIMEOUT72 promises to charm all your senses. Apart from
the line-up, there’s food and shopping at the flea market. With hypnotic laser
shows, fun-filled carnival rides, visual mapping and panoramic sunset dates
atop the Ferris wheel, all set to music, TIMEOUT72 has a lot to offer.
Inspired
by the concept of epoch, constellation and space, every stage stands true to
the brand name and legacy. The Main Stage is ‘Majoris’, India’s first biggest
festival stage, measuring at 200 x 55 feet and 3D stage. The Psy Stage
‘Eximius’ features hundreds of lights illuminating the stage. Though the stage
is awe-inspiring in daylight, as night falls, its bright psychedelic lights
enhance the hide and seek game of light and colour. The Live Stage ‘Proximus’
allows fans to get up close and personal with their favourite bands.
