PANJIM: The Old Goa police on Friday arrested four persons, who were amongst nearly 12 men charged with allegedly attacking a group at a bar and restaurant, on Wednesday evening.
While the alleged attackers were unidentified, the police during the investigation identified and arrested four persons namely Limbaji Krishna Lamani and Pravin Somappa Jadhav, both aged 20 years and residents of Zuari Nagar, Mormugao; Maruti Sitaram Lamani, aged 29 years and Pravin Somappa Chavan, aged 22 years and both residents of Sancoale.
PI Jivba Dalvi informed that the accused were nabbed during the raids conducted at their residences and booked under relevant sections of IPC. “They are now in police custody. We will interrogate them,” he added.
