MAPUSA: Goan Warriors advanced into the quarter-finals of the W Hotels Soccer cup 2018, organized by Chapora YS with a fluent 3-0 win over ABC Arambol, at Chapora ground, on Saturday.
Goan Warriors would have taken the lead in the 4th minute of play but Rahul Naik missed an open sitter with just the rival keeper to beat.
However, in the 9th minute, Gaursih Bugde gave final touches to Milind Shinde cross to give his side the lead.
Three minutes later, Chetan Shirodkar doubled the lead for Goan Warriors with a superb solo effort to make it 2-0.
On resumption of play, Rajesh Salgaonkar made it 3-0 with a neat placement.
