If such an encylopaedia were to surrender complete monopoly, then the price would be very huge amount probably running into hundreds of billions of dollars. The corporations that know through thorough calculation of the value of a body of work should calculate a figure that will enable it to at least claim the originality.
For example, the AI companies should incorporate in their works that they have referred to encyclopaedias as sources of information. The proliferation of AI will be so explosive that they should be able to pay a very good price, if they can then do so without long drawn litigation which would make amends by legal means for as one may call empowering of the very sources that allowed it to proliferate and profit in huge measure. It is to be stressed here that the tentacles of AI is so massive that already huge investments running into trillions of dollars are already being pledged, in the hope and with the arms of technology being so wide that AI will become the one single way to multiply both the dissemination of information as well as the exponential means of generating huge wealth.
