MARGAO: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that the government will strive hard to give Margao’s famous Dindi festival the status of an official State festival. He added that he will try and get this done through the Art and Culture Department before the festival takes place next year. Sawant, who was attending the 113th annual celebration further added that the State government would also provide financial and infrastructure support for the organisation of the festival, once it becomes a State festival.
