Police have arrested a gym trainer who allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old Delhi model to death inside her home in the Tilak Nagar area on Wednesday.
The accused, identified as Imran, was arrested following an encounter with police in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden area on Thursday night. During the exchange of fire, Imran sustained gunshot injuries to both legs and was subsequently admitted to a hospital for treatment.

According to police, Imran allegedly attacked Muskan after becoming enraged over her speaking to another person. The accused reportedly stabbed her at her residence in Tilak Nagar, resulting in her death.
Investigators said the victim and the accused had known each other for around one-and-a-half years. Police also found that the two had met at a hotel on August 20, just days before the fatal incident.
The investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances leading to the killing and the events preceding the attack.
