Porvoim police retrieved a body floating below the Mandovi Bridge on Thursday.
Acting on information, a police team went to the site and retrieved the body with the help of a trawler.
The deceased has been identified as Vasudev Gaudi, an employee on a trawler. The body has been sent for an autopsy at the Goa Medical College Hospital at Bambolim.
