PANJIM: Assis Cardozo was re-elected as the president of Saipem Sports Club, Candolim, in its annual general body meeting (AGM) held recently. The outgoing managing committee was unanimously re-elected for another term. However, the outgoing Sports Secretary Ricardo Cardozo and Assistant Sports Secretary Jonathan Cardozo opted out due to professional commitments.
The other committee members included: Vice-President Santu Trindade, General Secretary: Straton D’Souza, Treasurer Hyacinth Mascarenhas, Sports Secretary Sonu Kerkar, Vice Sports Secretary Santan Carvalho, Assistant General Secretary Epiphanio (Jose) D’Silva, Cultural Secretary Maria Martins, Governing Council members Chairman John S M Fernandes and Secretary Amelia Braganza.
