VERNA: Poriebhatt Boys edged out Dulape Boys 1-0 to lift the Youth of Bamborda Cup organised by Youth of Bamborda, at Verna ground, on Sunday.
Manuel Moniz scored the match winner for Poriebhatt in the 17th minute with a placement shot.
Dulape tried their level best to score but their strikers lacked sharpness.
The winners were awarded Rs 15,000 while the runners-up received Rs 10,000 plus trophies.
Wilfred D’Sa MLA of Nuvem was the chief guest gave away the prizes to winners and runners-up in the presence of other dignitaries and club officials.
