Miscreants set a jet ski on fire at a workshop late Sunday night.
The owner of Adventure Water sports, G Fernandes informed that the Jet Ski was brought for repairs at the workshop from his counterpart from Calangute. The total loss is pegged at around Rs 3 lakh.
Fernandes informed that the Jet Ski was due to delivery to the owner at Calangute on Monday morning, but before it could be dispatched, the boat was set afire.
“I came to the workshop at around 6 am only to find the Jet Ski burnt by unknown persons. Initially, I though the loss was minimal, but the mechanics have now pegged the losses to Rs 3 lakh”, he said.
Replying to a question, he said some days back, some persons tried to stop his water sports at Colva, but added that he did not file a complaint as the issue was amicably resolved.
The Colva are investigating the case.
