A few days ago, around 30 students accused the principal of failing them in their supplementary second-year Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) exams on the grounds that they belonged to a lower caste or religious minority. They also held a protest against the principal outside the college. NSUI leader Gitesh Naik said, “A hunger strike is also on the student’s plans.”
