The raid was carried out at Vetro Trade Centre, located on the first floor of the new market complex. Francis D’Souza, to whom the shop was leased out by its owner S Tiwari; Chandrakant Kankonkar and Satish Nayak were arrested while allegedly gambling on slot machines. The police also seized Rs 6,000 from their possession.

PANJIM: Panjim police cracked down on an illegal gambling den in the capital and arrested three persons on Thursday evening.
