The second All Goa Inter Collegiate/HSS Tiatr Competition 2022-23 was organised by Tiatr Academy of Goa at Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem. St Xavier’s College, Mapusa, Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Fr Agnel Higher Secondary School, Pilar, Fr Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar, Kala Academy Goa’s College of Theatre Arts, C/o Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda and DCT’s SS Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira, Bambolim, participated in the competition.
The inaugural function of the competition was held in the presence of Churchill Alemao, Ex CM of Goa and the chief guest for the day along with Menino Fernandes, president of TAG, Socorro Fernandes, vice president of TAG and Suresh Divkar, member secretary of TAG. Principals and representatives of the participating colleges were also present for the inaugural function. Menino Fernandes, President of TAG welcomed the gathering and Churchill Alemao congratulated TAG for organising the competition for college students which gave an opportunity to the youth to show their talent in tiatr. Vote of thanks was proposed by Socorro Fernandes.

Prize distribution function of the competition was held in the presence of Subhash Phal Dessai, Minister for Social Welfare and Ports and the chief guest and Anthony San Fernandes, a renowned tiatrist, the guest of honour for the function. Menino Fernandes, president of TAG, Socorro Fernandes, vice president of TAG, Suresh Divkar, member secretary of TAG, judges for the competition, Chitra Afonso and Fr Milagres Dias were the other dignitaries present on the dais. Socorro welcomed the guests and Menino informed the audience about the schemes of TAG, especially for children.
Subhash Phal Dessai appreciated the work of Tiatr Academy for encouraging the youth and children to participate in tiatr which will help to preserve tiatr for the future. Chitra Afonso and Fr Milagres Dias appreciated all the participants and said that the performance was par excellence. The function was compeered by William Fernandes, a renowned tiatrist.
