MARGAO, JAN 1
Goa will host the National football camp to prepare the national team to play a friendly match against Hong Kong on January 14.
The camp will begin on January 2 at Cuncolim grounds. In all, 29 footballers selected by the All India Football Federation will undergo an eight-day training camp before the team departs for Hong Kong.
India captain Baichung Bhutia is unlikely to join the camp as the ace striker is nursing a knee injury suffered during the Federation Cup in Kolkata. The camp will end on January 10.
Chief coach Bob Houghton, assistant coach Savio Madeira, goalkeeper coach Marcus Pacheco and physical trainer Suresh Babu will accompany the team.
