MARGAO: Youth of Manora thrashed Arlem Youth Association 7-0 to qualify for the play-off in the GFA 3rd Division football league at Raia ground on Thursday.
At the first half, Youth of Manora were leading 5-0.
Manora dominated the proceedings and Albino Pereira scored in the 17th, 21st and 25th minutes to complete his hat-trick with the help of Minguel Barretto, Schubert Fernandes and Prisco Moura respectively.
Arlem missed a chance to score in the 31st minute as Brian Fernandes shot wide. Manora increased the score tally in the 43rd minute through Minguel Barretto after receiving a pass from Albino.
In the dying minute, Manora scored their fifth goal after Shubert Fernandes’ ground shot landed into the rival net.
Change of ends saw Manora pumped in two more goals, Prisco Moura in the 51st minute and Remedious Pango in the last quarter. Minguel assisted on both the occasion.
