The road which leads from the Mapusa Court junction to the North Goa District Hospital is in a very bad state, with no one concerned to do anything about it.
The local MLA has turned a blind eye to its condition. It is vital to repair this road since any patient can die when he/she is been taken to the District Hospital in any vehicle, as the vehicle bumps badly since the road is not smooth.
Can someone inspect the road starting from the court circle to the roundabout which leads to the highway? Secondly all two-wheelers, four-wheelers and heavy vehicles have been diverted on this road and there is no place for pedestrians to walk.
Personally, I have had a very bad experience, as a regular pedestrian on this road.
As I was walking to work on January 24, 2015, a two-wheeler knocked me down and instead of helping me, the scooterist just vanished. I lay on the road badly injured and any vehicle could have run me over. If this was the case, who would be responsible?
Therefore, apart from my personal trauma, I request that this road be repaired and that vehicles be diverted, at the earliest, through some other roads.
