MAPUSA: Eight new COVID positive cases have been detected in the Colvale PHC jurisdiction on Thursday which includes two inmates from the Colvale Central Jail, two each in Tivim, Sirsaim and Colvale respectively.
Five new cases were reported in Siolim PHC jurisdiction which includes three cases in Canca and two in Anjuna which includes a staff nurse.

Six new cases have been detected in Aldona PHC jurisdiction including a panch, who has opted for home isolation.
Ten new cases have been reported in the Candolim PHC jurisdiction, which include seven in Saligao and three in Calangute.
New cases have been detected in Mapusa Urban Health Centre jurisdiction, which include five in Gausawado, three in Duler, six in Karaswada, four in Xelpem, two in Peddem and one in Ektanagar.
Meanwhile, 15 new cases have been reported in Pernem taluka with two in Dhargal, four in Torxem, three each in Tuem and Arambol respectively. One each in Casarvarnem, Morjim and Pernem respectively.
