MAPUSA, FEB 15 (HC) –Anjuna Police have arrested a Nepali and a Japanese on charges of possessing about two kgs of charas.
According to police, the police team stopped Nan Bahadur and Yuki Marita at Anjuna Beach while moving around suspiciously.
On conducting the search upon them, the police found 1.30 kg of charas with the Nepali and 900 grams with the Japanese.
The duo were immediately arrested and taken into custody and a case under NDPS Act has been booked against them. PI Ramesh Gaonkar is investigating the case.
