Tropa Sports and Cultural Association defeated Fr Agnel Pilar Youth Centre 6-0 in the GFA Under-14 match at Siolim Church grounds on Sunday.
Starting with an aggressive approach, Tropa were rewarded in the 3rd minute when Shubham Shetgaonkar, was fouled inside the penalty area. The referee had no other choice but to point to the dreaded spot and Shubham easily converted it.
Hari Parab (Babloo) scored in the 19th minute as Subham again found the net in the 35th minute when he dribbled past a host of defenders to beat the helpless Fr Agnel goalkeeper.
Crossing over, Tropa lads added three more goals with Shubham scoring one in the 37th minute. Arnold Fernandes scored the fifth goal in the 59th minute and substitute Ashish Chopdekar rounded off the tally in the 64th minute.
Tropa goalkeeper had a field day with much of the action confined to the Fr Agnel, Pilar territory.
Shubham was awarded the man-of-the match for his fantastic three goals.
