PANJIM: The JMFC Panjim on Saturday heard final arguments on the petition filed by advocate Aires Rodrigues seeking a court-monitored investigation into the November 27, 2017 attack on him. The JMFC has reserved the order to June 11.
Rodrigues argued that the politically influential accused who attacked him are being shielded by the police with no action having been taken despite several months having elapsed. Crime Branch Inspector Dattaguru Sawant submitted to the Court that the case was being investigated properly.
