MARGAO: Curtains came down on the first ever three- day Auto Herald Exhibition 2013 at the SGPDA grounds, which was attended by thousands of people during the last three days.

MARGAO: Curtains came down on the first ever three- day Auto Herald Exhibition 2013 at the SGPDA grounds, which was attended by thousands of people during the last three days.
The exhibition provided an opportunity to prospective two wheelers and four wheeler buyers’ choice of various models showcased at under one roof by a number of dealers. Visitors evinced keen interest in checking various models and also checked out the facilities offered by the dealers.
Vishal Matonkar of Quadros Suzuki said that the Auto Herald gave a good opportunity to market their products and had been very well arranged. As far as the response is concerned, he claimed that the exhibition evoked tremendous response as evident by the number of visitors and looked forward for similar exhibitions by Herald in the future.
Defny Sequeira of AM Venture Nissan claimed that people visiting their stall have shown interest, adding that such expos provided a great opportunity both for buyers to have a choice as well as dealers to promote their product.
Shenon Pereira, showroom manager Sitara Bajaj said that the expo provided a great platform, while Quadros Motorcorp Co, Peter claimed that response for their Vespa two wheelers was terrific.
On the other hand RP Mukarjee, general manager Auto Industries Goa Pvt Limited said it was first time that he was attending a Auto Expo in Goa and termed the response as fabulous. Goa, he said still is a good market even with recession and more with the closure of mines.  “I had not expected such a response while adding that the show was well organized”, he added.
Various banks that had opened its counters also expressed of having received good response.  Visitors at the expo expressed satisfaction that Herald took a initiative to hold Auto Herald in Margao as such expo give an opportunity to create awareness among people about four wheelers and two wheelers.  For many, it was a great opportunity to have a look at the vintage cars displayed by Ashvek Vintage World.
After three hectic days Auto Herald came to end with fashion show coordinated by Swapna Pujari, dance competition and drawing completion for kids which were well attended with public participation.
