Pathetic condition at Mapusa bus stand

It is disgusting to note that at Mapusa bus stand, the commuters boarding the local buses to travel to Calangute, Vagator, Betim, etc, just outside the market have to stand for almost half an hour minimum in the hot sun without a shade and breathe the stench from urine and defecation behind the stalls and emanating from between the pillars holding up the hoardings.

No effort is being made by the government or private hoarding owners as public social responsibility, to fence the area between the concrete pillars being used as public toilets mostly by bus attendants, drivers and vendors, although there is a government toilet at the far corner.
